show tomorrow in newport!

Well guys it's been a while but I will be playing at the Newport Cultural Center tomorrow! Reuben York will open, and special guest Cora Comstock will join me for a few songs! Tickets are $5. I'm looking forward to a trip off the island and a show with the nicest, most accommodating people I've had the pleasure to be booked by!

Garden news: carrots are up, sunflowers and parsnips are up, onions and shallots are up, dill and chamomile are up, nasturtiums are up, asparagus is ferning out, strawberries have blossoms, potatoes, beans and squash are in, tomatoes and basil are in, shiso is in. Flowers are blooming, the clematis is taller than the trellis we got for it just a few weeks ago. Still a little concerned about the weather, so make sure you listen to Almanac daily and use it as your mantra: "Please don't say it's gonna be a cold summer...I don't think that I can do it again."

Thanks, donors!

Dear everyone who has donated,

Thank you so much! Your donations largely funded the extremely short run of print cds that I'm doing to send to radio stations. I'm really happy and flattered that so many people are so supportive of this project - whether by donating, writing an article, downloading the album, or telling a friend about it!

Happy days, even though it's snowing and it's spring at the same time.

back!

Hello!

Philadelphia rules! I need to go back and eat more things. The show at Higher Grounds was sparely attended but REALLY fun and relaxing! And then I ate some more things. You know.

Right before I left Emily Burham (who has written about the Milk Man Ballet and last year's one-act play) did a super sweet write up of the album! Check it out here!

Love,

More write ups, and pre-flight anxiety

Hello world!

Tomorrow I fly to Philly, to see my smartypants sister and play a show! Dad sent me a link to a super sweet write up on Ukulele Perspective!

Pretty neato if you ask me.

The Web site is 100% up and running, streaming is crystal clear, url reads correctly, and I have to attempt to go to sleep while anxiously NOT running through disaster scenarios for tomorrow's trip.

Nighty night!

In the Working Waterfront, written by music mom extraordinaire Kate Taylor!
